Cancer Council Victoria (a non-government charity) is seeking a Programs Director to join the Cancer Information & Support Services (CISS) Unit. This position will assist the Director with the overall functioning of CISS while being responsible for the day-to-day management of the Unit’s programs.

The CISS Programs Director is responsible for the supervision of the Senior Program Coordinators – overseeing development, implementation & evaluation of programs as well as day-to-day CISS administrative requirements. The CISS Programs Director is required to present at conferences, facilitate & participate in team, local, national & international meetings on behalf of the CISS unit.

A key aspect to this role is relationship & network building, including working with relevant internal & external stakeholders such as Cancer Clinicians, Victorian Cooperative Oncology Group Committees & the International Cancer Information Services Group. This is a full-time position.

To be successful you will have a Masters or higher degree in oncology nursing, allied health with oncology &/or palliative care focus teamed with extensive experience in a similar position, which includes demonstrated leadership experience to manage a professional team working on complex customer focused projects.
