<p><strong>Bush Heritage, a leading Australian conservation organisation, currently has an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and experienced Senior Manager – Finance to join our Melbourne head office.</strong></p>
<p>The Senior Manager – Finance reports to the Chief Executive and is responsible for the financial management of the organisation.  You will be responsible for the successful financial management of the organisation and adapt processes to meet the needs of a continually evolving environment.  The role includes coordination of budget and financial management processes, cash-flow management and investment management.</p>
<p>You will be CPA or CA qualified with a minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience acquired within a complex company environment, ideally a non-profit with multiple funding sources.  Strong technical ability in financial management and strong project management skills are essential.  Your strategic insight and analysis, and knowledge of non-profit accounting including fund and grant accounting, compliance and reporting, will ensure your success in the role.  You will be responsible for managing three direct reports and fully utilising the finance system – MS Dynamics GP10.0.  Your resilience, positive track record and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are paramount.  Experience in the non-profit sector is desirable.  MBA would be regarded favourably.</p>

<p>Minus18 is now seeking a qualified, experienced, flexible and self-motivated individual to fill<br />
the position of Youth Mental Health Support Worker to expand the work of our organisation in supporting the mental health and wellbeing needs of same-sex attracted and gender diverse young people.</p>
<p>Remuneration above award rates.</p>
<p><strong>Major duties will include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provision of online mental health support for SSAGD young people through the Minus18 website;</li>
<li>Provision of mental health support for SSAGD young people at Minus18 youth events;</li>
<li>Liaising with the General Manager to build the capacity of Minus18 to provide mental health support;</li>
<li>Supporting and resourcing the Minus18 Youth Committee where appropriate.</li>
</ul>
<p>The preferred candidate will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check and a Victorian Police Record Check. They must also maintain a minimum Level 2 First Aid qualification.</p>

You will write resources and communications which equip Christians to become effective grassroots advocates on issues of global poverty and injustice.</p>

<p> The Song Room is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Program Coordinator to work alongside our small, professional and hard working Online Project team in developing and enhancing our on-line framework as a cutting edge, interactive learning platform.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone with proven experience in a similar role who is ready to get to work with our team.</p>
<p>You will be responsible primarily for online content management and support online content development, including having a role in pre-production, production and testing of new arts based online content.  The role will also have a training support and program administration function.</p>
<p>You will have a strong record of online project support and management including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Experience in coordinating a number of projects and staff</li>
<li>Strong level of logistical and computer skills.</li>

<p>As part of our recent growth and development, an excellent opportunity exists for a highly qualified researcher to join our Global Partnerships team.  As the Senior Researcher, this role will work to strengthen The Foundation’s research activities to ensure we are recognised globally as a leading voice and partner in public health research and particularly community eye health care.  The role will build The Foundations research to ensure we are not only filling the gaps in research to bring policy change to end avoidable blindness but also effectively translating those results to stakeholders.</p>
<p>You will be responsible for collaboratively setting the priorities for The Foundation’s research portfolio, including the development of key research projects; ensuring research outcomes are translated to support improved program quality and effectiveness; developing an active research network between The Foundation and other key partners in Australia and globally; building staff capacity in eye health matters and eye research methodology.</p>
<p>To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience in a similar position, with a strong academic track record and desire to work in the NGO sector.  You will possess outstanding knowledge of research principles, techniques and design, along with superior skills in epidemiology and statistical analysis and some public health or clinical expertise.  Excellent communication skills, an acute eye for detail, and a high level of integrity, together with a positive disposition will also be essential.</p>

<p>Big Brothers Big Sistes is seeking a new mentoring coordinator to join our team.</p>
<p>Big Brothers Big Sisters is the leading and longest servicing youth mentoring agency in Australia.</p>
<p>Big Brothers Big Sisters supports disadvantaged and vulnerable young people who are lacking significant adult role models and connections by matching them with a positive adult mentor from the community.</p>
<p>Young people are matched on a one-to-one basis with carefully selected and trained volunteers. The friendship is then supported and supervised by a Big Brothers Big Sisters coordinator.</p>
<p>The applicant must demonstrate that they possess:</p>
<p>• Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work or another related discipline;<br />
• An understanding of the issues associated with assessing, supervising &amp; supporting volunteers;<br />
• An understanding of the barriers to young people’s engagement in social opportunities;<br />
• Experience working with and providing support to young people in need and vulnerable families;<br />
• A good understanding of team work<br />
• Excellent assessment, referral and casework skills;<br />
• Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication.</p>

<p>The Song Room is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Program Coordinator to work alongside our small, professional and hard working Online Project team in developing and enhancing our on-line framework as a cutting edge, interactive learning platform.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone with proven experience in a similar role who is ready to get to workwith our team.</p>
<p>You will be responsible primarily for online content management and support online content development, including having a role in pre-production, production and testing of new arts based online content.  The role will also have a training support and program administration function.</p>
<p>You will have a strong record of online project support and management including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Experience in coordinating a number of projects and staff</li>
<li>Strong level of logistical and computer skills.</li>

<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>Working as part of a dedicated team of professionals and reporting to the Group Financial Controller our Program Management Accountants ensure that all Country and State Programs’ financial reporting is processed in a timely and accurate manner. This requires extensive liaison with key stakeholders in Country and State Offices and detailed analysis and preparation of monthly project variance reports. Travel to our interstate and overseas offices is required as part of this role.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have</p>
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualification/s in Accounting</li>
<li>Proven experience (at least 2 years) in a management accounting role</li>
<li>Excellent English verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical and financial modelling skills/experience</li>
<li>CA\CPA membership (or studying towards) highly regarded but not essential</li>
<li>Australian Permanent residency or current Australian unrestricted working rights.</li>
</ul>
