This position is a member of the National Strategic Growth (Service Funding) Team. A key responsibility of this position will be to proactively identify and pursue new and expanded funding opportunities, principally through government tenders/ funding submissions. This includes identifying and monitoring state based government funding opportunities as well as coordinating and writing proposals on behalf of the State / Territory and Red Cross nationally.

To be successful in this role you will need high level analytical and research skills as well as strategic acumen to generate new ideas, opportunities and funding sources. Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or experience in social sciences, human services, community development, service development or a related field are desirable but not essential, dependant on work experience.
