<li>Diversional Therapy</li>
<li>Community Link Line</li>
<li>Bell ( Dementia )</li>
<li>Younger People with a Disability (Age 18-60yrs)</li>
<li>Recreation for younger people with a disability</li>

<p>The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a not for profit or community based operation providing essential services to improve the community lifestyle benefits.  Reporting to and working closely with the Board, this key role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure that expectations are met. With a view to continuous improvement of performance in all activities you will need to oversee all business functions including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Finance &amp; Administration, HR, Payroll, Tax &amp; GST requirements</li>
<li>Liaising with Government &amp; Community Departments, medical practitioners and family members</li>
<li>Preparation of annual budget for board approval as well as all quarterly &amp; annual financial reports</li>
<li>Providing staff with support and direction to help promote and project a positive image of Myrtle Cottage</li>

<p>Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for providing support to our children with cancer and their families through reviewing, developing and implementing a comprehensive Learning &amp; Development Program. <p>This includes offering informal assistance as well as access to Assistance/Referral Centres for families in crisis; access to Budget Counselling, showers and washing facilities, meals and other programs such as the NILS program and the Emergency Relief Program.</p>
<p>The Care and Support Department is also involved in Overseas Partnership and Development, assisting twinned countries within the developing world to move towards self-sufficiency.</p>
<p>This position requires tertiary qualifications in social welfare (or equivalent discipline) and would ideally suit someone looking to develop professionally within an influential, office based, information management role.</p>
<p>There is the opportunity to work with a large volunteer base, and we require someone with the ability to inspire and motivate others with enthusiasm.</p>
<p>There is great scope to further develop this role and you will be joining our team at an exciting time as State Office moves into new office space. The successful applicant will possess well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels of an organisation.</p>

<p>Cancer Council Victoria (a non-government charity) is seeking a Programs Director to join the Cancer Information &amp; Support Services (CISS) Unit. This position will assist the Director with the overall functioning of CISS while being responsible for the day-to-day management of the Unit’s programs.</p>
<p>The CISS Programs Director is responsible for the supervision of the Senior Program Coordinators &#8211; overseeing development, implementation &amp; evaluation of programs as well as day-to-day CISS administrative requirements. The CISS Programs Director is required to present at conferences, facilitate &amp; participate in team, local, national &amp; international meetings on behalf of the CISS unit.</p>
<p>A key aspect to this role is relationship &amp; network building, including working with relevant internal &amp; external stakeholders such as Cancer Clinicians, Victorian Cooperative Oncology Group Committees &amp; the International Cancer Information Services Group. This is a full-time position.</p>
<p>To be successful you will have a Masters or higher degree in oncology nursing, allied health with oncology &amp;/or palliative care focus teamed with extensive experience in a similar position, which includes demonstrated leadership experience to manage a professional team working on complex customer focused projects.</p>

We are seeking a strong leader who instinctively engages with community and high level stakeholders to effect social justice and change.</p>
<p>Under the direction of the Board, the Executive Officer (EO) is responsible for the achievement of PLWHA-SA’s strategic goals by ensuring management of the physical, financial and human resources of the organisation.</p>
<p>As the senior employee, the Executive Officer undertakes key advocacy, health promotion and coordinating roles within and across government and non-government agencies towards improved service coordination and health outcomes for positive people.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring annual Business Plans, budgets and program evaluations are consistent with the Strategic Plan, are adequately resourced and their objectives achieved</li>
<li>Providing on-going assistance to the Board via attendance at Board meetings, accurate reporting, providing advice and acting on Board decisions</li>
<li>Supporting the development and review of effective policies and procedures</li>
<li>Implementing human resource management systems that encourage high level productivity, job satisfaction and professional development and which reflect PLWHA-SA’s values and governance policies</li>
<li>Ensuring funding strategies are developed and maintained; negotiations occur with funding bodies, funds are sourced and the funding process is managed</li>
<li>Ensuring, in conjunction with the Board, that input is provided into State and National government policy on HIV/AIDS and related issues</li>
<li>Ensuring formal constructive linkages with key mainstream agencies including health, mental health, housing, employment and welfare</li>
<li>Overseeing the design, marketing, promotion, delivery and evaluation of Health Promotion programs, products and services</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, constitutional and legislative requirements including OHS&amp;W, HR, finance and risk management, and including the conditions of funding agreements</li>
