The Healthy Children Coordinator is part of a new prevention workforce and resource investment between the department of Health, the City of Whittlesea and Plenty Valley Community Health to build a community-level prevention system through which interventions to tackle obesity, physical activity, nutrition, tobacco and alcohol use will be delivered and effectively supported.

The Healthy Children Coordinator is part of the City of Whittlesea Preventive Health Partnership team and will be line managed and based in the Population Health Team at Plenty Valley Community Health with overall program management responsibilities through the City of Whittlesea Preventive Health Partnership Team.

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

1. Degree in health promotion, public health, community development or related field.
