<p>WWF-Australia, the global conservation organisation, is seeking a highly skilled advocate with a strong understanding of relevant science, policy and management issues to help protect the Great Barrier Reef.</p>
<p>The position works within a successful team to catalyse increased government policy, program and funding commitment to secure deep cuts in the pollution of the Great Barrier Reef. The position develops relationships and works with key agency and industry stakeholders at the state and federal level to support WWF-Australia’s Great Barrier Reef water quality strategy.</p>
<p>To be successful for this position it is essential that you have demonstrated:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience advocating to key decision makers and influencing positive commitments in catchment, freshwater or marine pollution management</li>
<li>Skills and experience working with stakeholders and partners (e.g. government, researchers, NGOs, NRMs, industry) in catchment, freshwater or marine pollution management</li>
<li>Strong scientific understanding of Great Barrier Reef water quality issues</li>
<li>Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Track record translating emerging science into policy, program and funding solutions that address strategic catchment, freshwater or marine pollution management issues</li>

<p>Queensland Voice has a new position available for a motivated, customer focused and friendly Administration/Project Worker who is flexible and adaptable.</p>
<p>This position will provide administrative support, member contact, data entry and organisational information and resources within a small team environment. Your primary task will be to contact members and other stakeholders to gather and enter information into our database and research and develop organisational information and resources.  You will also perform reception and basic administration duties from time to time.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to maintain confidentiality and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office.  Prior experience and an understanding of the mental health sector are desirable but not essential.</p>

<p>This prominent, socially responsible local employer is looking for a motivated client services professional to provide advice, support, advocacy and referral services to clients who are experiencing tenancy issues in the private and public housing sector.</p>
<p>IPA is working with this recognised local employer to find the right person to join their expanding team in this challenging and specific role. Reporting to the Client Services Coordinator, the major focus of the role is to provide support and assistance to clients who are experiencing tenancy issues.</p>
<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities in this role will include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provision of advice, information and advocacy both by telephone and in person as required</li>
<li>Assist clients in the preparation of legal documentation in accordance with the requirements of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008</li>
<li>Assessment of client needs and arrange appropriate advice, support or referral as required</li>
<li>Establish and maintain links with other public and private organisations and peak bodies</li>
<li>Develop and deliver community education programs and workshops</li>
<li>Undertake specific training as required to provide TAASQ services</li>
<li>Maintain all records and reports in accordance with organisational and statutory requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>In order to be considered for this role you will need to clearly demonstrate the following:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Significant experience in providing high quality client support</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Compassionate and empathetic interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire, the required knowledge relating to the statutory requirements of the housing sector, particularly tenancy legislation.</li>
