<p>The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) is one of the most active and innovative trade unions in Australia.</p>
<p>The primary function of this role is to develop and implement effective campaigns and strategies to build member’s collective power in the workplace. There is also a strong emphasis on recruiting members and developing members, delegates and workplace leaders.  The position will report to the Team Leader and Lead Organiser and will be focused on meeting key union objectives of:</p>
<ul>
<li>Winning improvements in members pay, conditions and working environment through delivering the union’s bargaining claims and our agenda for change in our industry</li>
<li>Delivering a stronger voice for members by ensuring union membership grows and by building member participation in union activity</li>
<li>Giving members ownership of their union by building effective workplace delegate structures and increasing the number, skill and engagement of delegates and workplace leaders in CPSU activity.</li>
</ul>

We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a suitably experienced fundraising Manager to join the National office team in Canberra.  This position is responsible for maximising fundraising revenue to ICV from individual, philanthropic and corporate donors. As a senior role, the Fundraising Manager will be comfortable with dealing with donors at all levels.  The successful applicant will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Implement ICV’s 5 year Fundraising Strategy to ensure that ICV engages with relevant external stakeholders and suppliers and continues to grow its revenue potential.</li>
<li>Supervising and supporting ICV’s Fundraising team to ensure the effective initiation, design, implementation and achievement of ICV’s fundraising strategic objectives.</li>
<li>Develop tactics, systems and processes that will ensure the successful implementation of the ICV fundraising strategy.</li>
<li>Develop and manage the Fundraising budget to ensure income and expenditure are managed appropriately and targets are met.</li>
